LAHORE: Three dacoits were killed in an alleged encounter in Johar Town area of Lahore in the wee hours of Monday.
According to police, police signaled three suspects riding a motorbike to stop near Johar Town Commercial Market after which the suspects opened fire at the police. The police retaliated and killed all three alleged dacoits. One of the deceased is identified as Sajjad, who is a resident of Mali Pura. The bodies have been shifted to mortuary for post mortem.
