Pillion riding banned in Federal Capital for 2 months over security concerns.
District Administration Islamabad banned the Pillion riding in federal Capital for 2 months, According to DC Islamabad the ban imposed under section 144.
Hand bill, Pamphlets and distribution of Posters are also banned. Strict legal action will be taken against those who don't obey the Pillion riding and related orders.
The DC Islamabad said that there is risk of deteriorating law and order situation during Muharram.
Wall Chalking is already banned in the city which will end on 17 September however it will further extends.
Earlier that all four provincial Goveronments recommended to close mobile phone services on 9th and 10th Muharram due to security concerns. They also wrote letters to the federal govt however the final decision to close mobile signals will be after the approval of Prime Minister.
