A Pakistani teacher has gained internet stardom after an image of his hilarious cautionary note for students went viral.

The image showing Dr Farrukh Khan, an associate professor at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) where he teaches English Literature, sitting in front of a note projected across the wall.

The note humorously highlights that teachers can tell when students use their phones to text in classes.

”Dear students, I know when you’re texting in class. Seriously, no one just looks down at their crotch and smiles,” the note reads.

The image has been trending on Imgur and Reddit and has received around 1.39 million views so far.

While a few commented on the picture mocking the message, most appreciated the professor’s idea of reprimanding his pupils in a humorous and polite manner.

Some teachers also commented on the picture to share their own experiences and how they deal with students who don’t pay attention.
