    United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres has called for global action against hate speech that has risen alongside the Coronavirus pandemic.

    Listing the examples of hate speech that have surfaced during the crisis, he stressed the need to end anti-foreigner sentiments, conspiracy theories and attacks against Muslims on the pretext of Coronavirus pandemic.

    The UN Secretary General called on political leaders to build maximum outreach to vulnerable people as COVID-19 does not care who we are, where we live, what we believe or about any other distinction.

    Remember, China said it supports WHO in trying to pinpoint the origins of COVID-19 and accused Mike Pompeo of telling one lie after another in his attacks on Beijing.
