    Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other dignitaries on Saturday visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam and paid respects on Pakistan Day.

    Stringent security measures were taken this morning at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Pakistan Day.

    Police, SSU and Rangers personnel were deployed for security at the mausoleum.

    Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah with his cabinet ministers arrived at the mausoleum, laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha at the Mazar.

    The Commissioner Karachi, officers of the armed forces and other dignitaries arrived at the mausoleum and paid respects to the father of the nation.

    Governor of Sindh on the occasion hoped for an early attainment of the vision of Quaid-e-Azam. chief minister sindh said that only a united nation could defend the country.

    Moreover, the SSU holding flag march in Karachi on Pakistan Day. The march started from the SSU headquarters and passing various roads of the city.

    The flag march will end at Mazar-e-Quaid after passing through Dalmia, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and University Road of the city.

    In Lahore, a change of guard ceremony was held at the mausoleum of poet philosopher Allama Iqbal on Saturday morning to mark Pakistan Day.

    A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) dressed in immaculate whites assumed ceremonial guard duties at the mausoleum.
