Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Masood Bhatti along with four other persons have been killed in his rivals armed attack near Toll Plaza in Kasur.
According to the initial reports, Masood Bhatti, his two friends and two body guards were heading to Lahore, from Kasur, when some unidentified rivals intercepted them near Toll Plaza and opened indiscriminate firing at their vehicle.
The armed attackers fled away from the shooting side, leaving Masood Bhatti, his two friends, and two body guards dead on the spot.
large number of Masood Bhatti’s supporters and PTI’s local activists gathered at the Toll Plaza, after hearing about their leader’s demise, started stern protest against the attack and killings. The protesters ransacked the Toll Plaza and opened aerial fire during the agitation.
