Nine people were killed and over dozen others injured in various parts of Punjab in traffic accidents caused by a thick fog. In Johar town, a teenager on a motorcycle also died in a traffic accident.
A collision between a donkey cart and a vehicle in Ferozwala left one person dead and another injured. One person was killed in an accident between two motorcyles in Sargodha, while three more died in other parts of the province. Three people died in deadly accident on Jatoi Shah Jamal road in Muzaffargarh.
In Okara, two vehicles collided, leaving 10 people injured, of whom four are students. Another five students in Pindi Bhattian were injured when a rickshaw and a bus collided. Motorway police have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel on the motorway, while trains throughout the country have been delayed.
Thirteen people injured due to truck and bus collision in Manawala, Faisalabad. Fifteen people injured in Sheikhupura and motorcyclist got injured in an accident in Khanewal.
