At least three people, two children among them, were killed and several injured in incidents of roof collapse in Lahore.
Police and rescue teams said roof of a mud house caved in due to heavy rain in Lahore’s Bedian Road area, killing six-year-old Salman. A woman and a girl were injured in the incident.
Another similar incident took place in Lahore’s Kacha Kumahan area where six people, including two children, were buried under debris when roof of their house collapsed.
Another incident was reported in Nankana Sahib district’s Kot Fazl area where roof of a house collapsed in heavy downpour, killing a child and injuring a couple and two children.
Rescue teams retrieved all those trapped and shifted to hospital.
