The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued notices to 22 members of Punjab Assembly in relation to the dual nationality case.
According to sources, former ambassador Asif Ezdi filed a reference against the dual national members of the provincial assembly.
The commission will discuss the reference on February 7.
The MPAs who have been served notices include ex MPAs Jamil Ashraf and Tahir Ali Javed, MPAs named Zaigham Qadr, Shaukat Aziz Bhatti, Rana Babar Hussain, Rarrukh Javed, Raza Ali Gilani, Pir Kashif Chisti, Imran Shaukat, Muhammad Yar Hiraj, Tahir Khalil Sindhu, Makhdoom Muhammad Irtika, Arif Khalid Pervaiz, Maiza Malik, Ghulam Sarwar, Imran Khalid, Shah Jahan Ahmed Wattoo, Ali Haddi Noor, Haifz Mian Noman, Mohsin Latif, Mian Tariq Mehmood and Shamshair Haider Wattoo.
The ECP also issued notices to two former MPAs.
Earlier, former MNA Shahnaz Sheikh submitted a list of 20 MNAs with dual nationality to the Supreme Court.
