At least 11 people lost their lives and seven sustained injuries on Friday when two passenger vans collided on G. T. Road near Gujranwala.
Police and rescue officials said the deadly crash took place near Datywali area of Gujranwala, an industrial city in north east Punjab, where two passenger vans collided head-on.
The two vehicles were completely damaged. Police said dense fog in the early morning along main G. T. Road caused the accident.
The dead and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, five of the injured in critical state.
