    Featured

Nawaz Sharif has called for elimination of militant wings of PPP and its coalition partners.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Monday, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that the Supreme Court had ordered in its verdict in Karachi law and order case that the military wings of the political parties be eliminated from Karachi.

He said that the peace and law and order cannot be restored in the city as long as the militant wings of PPP and its allied parties exist.

Condemning suicide attack on former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Nawaz said the government should take notice of such attacks.

He said that the government was made no serious efforts to eliminate terrorism and only made sweeping statements in this regard during last four years.

Nawaz Sharif demanded that the public must know about six accused arrested in Wali Khan Babar case.

Government is harassing the people in the guise of pillion riding and suspending mobile service, he remarked.

Condemning Israeli military strikes in Gaza, Nawaz said said Israel had unleashed sheer barbarity through these attacks. All the Muslim countries should stand with people of Gaza in this hard time, he urged.

He appealed to the UN to take notice of Israeli aggression and brutalities and adopt resolution against Israel. US role in this regard is highly inappropriate, he held.

He said the masses should elect only those people in the upcoming elections who are sincere with the country and who want to resolve problems faced by the people of Pakistan.
