LAHORE: The various missing workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) are still unaccounted for, ever since they were taken away by the police after 15-hour blood-stained Model Town operation that left over 12 people dead.

Having visited a number of police stations and hospitals in search for their missing dear and near ones, the grieving relatives are now staying at the secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, hoping to see again their missing loved ones.

A girl sitting at the MQI Secretariat is looking for her missing brother who was picked up by police. She said her brother was subjected to severe torture in front of her.

But later, this youth could not be traced anywhere. The grief-stricken sister said she has been looking for her brother for three days now; but in vain, adding there are dozens of others youths who are missing after the brutal operation.

Another mother with tears in her eyes told that police personnel thrashed her son ruthlessly in front of her eyes and took him away dragging him on the road, adding now she is unable to find her son’s whereabouts.
