    Young doctors won’t go on strike again, YDA assures LHC.

    The Lahore High Court on Thursday completed its hearing into the petitions submitted against Punjab young doctors’ strike.

    As Justice Ijazul Ahsan started hearing on petitions regarding Young Doctors Association’s (YDA’s) issue, Punjab government’s counsel informed that provincial government has accepted all the demands of young doctors and recommendations in this regard have been finalised.

    He further said that a report has also been been prepared to withdraw murder charges against the accused doctors.

    In response, YDA’s representative remarked that association has no problem with the Punjab government anymore, as their demands have finally been addressed.

    While ending the standoff, Young Doctors Association assured the court they would avoid going on strike in the future.
