LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League (N) has begun consultations for the upcoming general elections in the country, which is expected next year.
PML (N) President Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the party leaders in Raiwind, attended by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Khuwaja Asif, Pervez Rashid, Ihsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah and Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and others.
Sharif directed the party leaders to form district level committees as part of PML-N's election campaign to mobilise the party on grass root level. Ghaus Ali Shah and Arbab Ghulam Rahim would form committees in Sindh while Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Saleem Saifullah and Pir Sabir Shah in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The names are yet to be finalized for the people who would form district level committees for Punjab and Balochistan.
