  • Dual nationality law should be respected: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that holding dual nationality is not a crime but the parliament’s step to ban it should be respected.

Shahbaz Sharif was talking to the media at Lahore Airport after returning from his three-day visit to London. He said that millions of overseas Pakistanis are generating revenue for the country but if the parliament has banned dual nationality, then the lawmakers should respect this action.

The chief minister condemned the brutal attack on young children’s leader Malala Yousafzai and prayed for her speedy recovery. He said that the brave girl made her country proud with her efforts but was wounded in a cowardly attack.

He hoped for increased foreign investment after his successful tours of Turkey, London and Germany.
