Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov would arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday on a two-day visit for bilateral consultations with Pakistani leadership.
Besides holding bilateral consultations‚ he will also call on President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The visit will provide an opportunity to further expand the existing beneficial ties between the two countries.
The two countries share views on various important regional and international issues.
