Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority has accelerated construction work on Kachhi Canal Project so that it could be completed as early as possible.
This was stated by Chairman WAPDA Raghib Shah during the visit to Kachhi Canal Project in Dera Ghazi Khan district.
He said the project would usher in an era of prosperity‚ particularly in Balochistan‚ through irrigated agriculture.
The WAPDA Chairman said the Federal Government has released the direly needed funds of two point four billion rupees for the project.
