    Pakistan's Ambassador for Polio Eradication Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has urged the international community to extend help and cooperation to eradicate polio from Pakistan.

    She was speaking at Global Citizen Festival in New York to highlight awareness campaign to fight polio.

    Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said her mother‚ Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto‚
    personally vaccinated her in 1994‚ which inspired the entire nation to administer polio vaccination to the children.

    She said Pakistan is one of the three countries‚ which are still fighting polio.

    She thanked the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation‚ WHO‚ UNICEF‚ Japan and Rotary International for their support to Pakistan in this mission.
