    The Lahore High Court ordered the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fayaz Chauhan and Shireen Mazari. Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz heard the petition against the detention of PTI workers in Rawalpindi Bench of Lahore High Court.

    During the hearing, the court ordered the release of Fayyaz Chauhan with the order of depositing a surety bond of Rs.1 lac.

    The court also ordered to submit a separate list of the workers involved in the vandalism and made it clear that those named in the cases will face the cases and those who are not named in any case, only he will be released.

    The court also issued an order to submit the list of nominated workers to the district administration.

    Earlier, Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench issued an order to release Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shireen Mazari. The court, while ordering the release of Shireen Mazari, directed that Shireen Mazari give an affidavit to the Deputy Commissioner that she will not be involved in such activities in the future.
