Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the situation in Ukraine will have the worst economic impact on developing countries, adding that there is a need for normalization of situation and immediate ceasefire.
In his tweet, he said he had discussed the situation in Ukraine with EU Council President Charles Michael and expressed concern over the continuing military conflict, highlighting its worst economic impact on developing countries.
He stressed the need for immediate ceasefire and normalization of the situation.
Stressing on the need for humanitarian assistance, he said that the conflict needs to be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. We also agreed that countries like Pakistan could play a role in facilitating this situation.
The Prime Minister said that he wanted closer ties for the promotion of common goals.
