PESHAWAR: Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, who have started their journey back to their homeland, after attending world’s largest congregation in Saudi Arabia, are facing extra ordinary flight delays.
A flight of private airliner, which was originally scheduled to arrive in Peshawar on Wednesday, suffered a delay of 24 hours and it is now expected to reach there at 5 pm today (Thursday).
The airline’s management said the flight had to face the delay due to some operational problems at Jeddah airport. On the other hand, a Saudi airline’s flight arrived at the Peshawar Airport today at 1:30 PM, after a delay of about one hour.
Relatives and others attendees of the Hajj pilgrims have also been facing difficulties due to the flight delays.
