  • Sindh: Rangers rebuts MQM London allegation of extra judicial killing of activist

    Sindh Rangers on Thursday has rejected extra-judicial killings allegations levelled by Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London).

    Addressing a press conference in Karachi, the paramilitary spokesperson Major Qambar Raza rebutted the allegations by surfacing the MQM-London activist Muhammad Yousuf alias Thelaywala who the party had claimed to be killed during detention before being subjected to torture.

    Joining in conversation with media persons, Muhammad Yousuf said that he was an active member of MQM-London and had taken shelter at a friend’s house in the Surjani area following a raid at his workplace.

    “I was shocked to hear about my extra-judicial killing news during hiding,” he said, adding he left for Mirpurkhas then to avoid trouble for other relatives and friends.

    “Later I decided to surrender before the Rangers,” he added.

    Thanking Rangers for providing protection from MQM-London, Thelawala said that the London based MQM hatching conspiracies against the law-enforcement agencies of the country.
