At least 12 suspects were detained by police on Friday during a search operation at Baldia Town.
The suspected were rounded up from Hazara Colony and Gulshan-e-Ghazi.
Police also conducted an operation in Soldier Bazaar where one proclaimed offender was arrested. Weapons were recovered from him, police said.
SP Baldia Town Asif Razzaq said that a 100 police officers took part in the operation.
