    Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to support Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman for the Mayor of Karachi. The spokesperson says that People's Party and MQM do not want to accept the public mandate.

    The spokesperson of PTI says that PTI will support the candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami in the mayoral election.

    The spokesman said that the People's Party is rigging pre-poll in the election process of Mayor Karachi, People's Party is abducting the elected local body representatives through the Sindh Police.

    He said that the People's Party ran back from the municipal elections 4 times, they want to elect the mayor in a hurry, they are being abducted before taking the oath of the local government representatives.

    He says that PTI has also approached the court on this matter, the mayor should be elected through a transparent procedure.

    The spokesperson says that People's Party and MQM do not want to accept the public mandate.
