An Accountability Court of Lahore on Thursday extended judicial remand of politician siblings Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique till July 16 in Paragon scandal case.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) produced Salman and Saad to the court amid tight security.

At the outset of the hearing, NAB presented its report on other three accused in the case, namely; Nadeem Zia, Umar Zia and Farhan Ali.

The report revealed that the suspects were intentionally hiding to avoid being arrested.

When inquired by the court, NAB prosecutor said that new addresses were being traced to apprehend the three suspects.

The court then gave the go-ahead to initiate proceedings to term Farhan, Nadeem and Umar Zia as proclaimed offenders and extended Khawaja brothers’ remand for five days till July 16.
