A court on Saturday accepted bail of former member of National Assembly Liaquat Abbas Bhatti. He is facing charges of torturing and imprisoning his housemaid.
The court, at first, ordered to send the accused on a 14-day remand. The accused ex-MNA was produced before Judicial Magistrate who accepted his bail application for two surety bonds of Rs. 50,000 each, and ordered his release.
Bhatti’s lawyer had also filed for bail at the same time and the client is not guilty.
