  • Firing from banned-group kills six people in Bhakkar

    Six people were dead and eight injured after banned group opened firing in Bhakkar. The group had been engaged in a brawl for a while now and things had heated up.

    Kotla Jam area of  district Bhakkar in Punjab, banned group people entered into area with abusing slogans against Prophets and Ehle Bait. Local people tried to stop them but they opened firing on them. In result 6 persons died and 8 wounded.

     

    Syed Imran Shah, Ali Raza, Khan Muhammad and Ghulam Mustafa were reported to be dead during incident. The injured have been shifted to a hospital.

    Law enforcement agencies cordon off the area. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the situation, saying those who break the law will be dealt with severely.
