Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar sworn in as Governor Punjab. Chief Justice Lahore High Court administered the oath.
The ceremony also attended by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, provincial ministers, lawyers and others.
Speaking to media after taking oath, Chaudhry Sarwar said doors of Governor's House were open for the general public from today onwards.
He said he would work with all the political parties for the betterment of the province, pledging that education emergency would be imposed to eliminate illiteracy and poverty from the country.
