The Punjab government has called the provincial assembly session tomorrow for approval of the new local government system.
Punjab Assembly has called session at 10 A.M that will be presided over by deputy speaker Shair Ali.
The Assembly is likely to refer the bill to the concerned standing committee of the house for preparing a report, sources told media.
Sources said that the new Punjab Local Government Bill envisaged restoration of the old mayor system for the metropolitan cities and the chairman-led districts councils.
