A man was shifted to hospital in a critical condition after he was set on fire by his in-laws here on Monday.
According to police, Mairaj married with his relative few months ago but problems were created soon after the marriage and his wife Iqra returned back to her parents’ home.
When he went to win her back and convince to go to home with him, his in-laws physically tortured him and set him on fire after sprinkling petrol.
He was later shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment where doctors said that 85% of his body was burnt.
