Five condemned prisoners including the killer of former Punjab chief minister, were executed in various jails of Punjab on Thursday morning.
Zaman alias Zamani, the killer of former chief minister of Punjab Ghulam Haider Wayne was executed in Multan Central Jail in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
Ghulam Haider Wayne was killed in an attack in September 1993 during his election campaign.
A court awarded death sentence to the culprit. His death warrants issued by the trial court after rejection of the mercy plea by the President.
The death convict was executed this morning in Multan Central Jail.
