    Railways minister Sheikh Rashid on Saturday accused previous government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) of buying engine worth Rs220 mln in mammoth Rs420 mln.

    He was addressing a ceremony in Lahore.

    Rashid went on to say that incumbent govt has taken several steps to revive department of railways. He said, “The income of railways has been increased by Rs1 bln”.

    “The incumbent govt was handed over a country which had been brutally looted by the robbers”, stated Rashid.

    Rashid informed attendants that work was underway to install Wifi system in the trains. He added a shuttle service would be launched between Hyderabad and Karachi.
