    Prime Minister Imran Khan has performed Umrah in the wee hours of Wednesday.

    The doors of Baitullah were also opened for the Prime Minister Imran Khan, and was bestowed with the opportunity of going inside ‘Khana Kaaba’.

    On Tuesday evening, Imran Khan arrived in Jeddah after visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina.

    Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International airport, he was warmly received by Makkah Deputy Emir Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar, Minister of Media Dr Awwad Al-Awwad, Mayor of Jeddah Saleh Al-Turki, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Malki, and several other senior civil and military officials.

    Prime Minister’s trip to Saudi Arabia began exactly one month after he assumed office, which was arranged on the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

    Prime Minister will hold wide-ranging talks with the King and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.

    Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Madina on his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia.

    Upon arrival, the Pakistan premier was received by Governor of Madina Faisal bin Salman, Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Khan Hasham bin Siddique and other officials.

    Prime Minister Imran is flanked by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Adviser for Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.

    The prime minister, along with his delegation, will visit Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and offer Maghrib prayers there.

    He is visiting the kingdom on the invitation of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Mohammad Bin Salman, a statement released by the Foreign Office of Pakistan said earlier.

    The prime minister will call on King Salman and hold a bilateral meeting with the Saudi crown prince.

    King Salman will also host a state banquet for the premiere at the Royal Court. Accompanying ministers will also meet their counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation.

    The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen will also call on PM Khan during his visit.

    On the other hand, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will leave for the United States on Saturday to represent Pakistan at the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

    On the sidelines of the meeting, the Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with his counterparts of members states including the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
