    Pakistan have won the ODI fixture by six wickets against Afghanistan in Sharjah this midnight.

    Pakistan batsmen again showed lack of skills and confidence in this easy match against the junior and comparatively struggling Afghan team.
    The Afghan bowlers did not allow Pakistan Batsmen to take easy runs and achieve the target of 138 runs before completion of the match.
    None of Pakistan batsmen including the debutant opener Sharjeel showed any extra ordinary effort or tried to impress the fans and experts.
    At times, it seemed that the Blue Shirts will upset all by winning the match but luck smiled on the Green Shirts and they won on final ball of the match, bowled as an extra ball by Afghan bowler, by achieving exact target of 138 runs in 19.5 overs.
    Skipper Mohammad Hafiz made 42 runs, Ahmad Shehzad 35, Umar Akmal 28, debutant Sharjeel 18, Sohaib Maqsood 5, and Shahid Afridi 1 run.
    Pakistan skipper Hafiz received Man of the Match Award in the ODI fixture for his highest individual score from both sides.
    Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to go for batting first against Pakistan team in this ODI match in Sharjah’s renowned cricket venue.
    Afghan team scored 137 runs for 8 wickets with nearly seven run per over average at completion of assigned 20 overs and set 138 runs target for  Pakistan.
    Pakistan bowler Junaid Khan took three wickets, Sohail Tanvir 2, Shahid Afridi and Bilawal Bhatti 1 wicket each in the match.
