BANGKOK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif urged investors from Asia-Pacific region to invest in Pakistan as the country offers excellent opportunities in various sectors of the economy.
Addressing Connect Asia-Pacific Summit 2013 here, PM Sharif noted that the some Asia-Pacific countries are very advanced in the field of information technology as evident from the fact that IT firms constitute 20 percent of the regional GDP.
He invited those firms and other investors to invest in Pakistan taking advantage of investor-friendly policies introduced by the government.
