Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says the government is committed to weed out terrorism from the country.
Addressing a public meeting in Narowal District, he said the ongoing military operation against terrorism had broken the backbone of terrorists.
He said the defence of Pakistan is in very strong hands, as the government had made it impregnable. The armed forces of Pakistan had full capability to defend the motherland.
He said the PML-N government is fulfilling its all promises, including raising the living standard of people by ensuring the provision of basic amenities of life to them.
The minister said the government is committed to protect the rights of people.
