Turkey has acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistani people in the fight against terrorism
The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan says his country recognizes the sacrifices rendered by Pakistani people in the fight against terrorism.
He was talking to former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani who called on him in Ankara at the head of a three-member delegation.
Both sides agreed that not force but dialogue and reconciliation is the only way forward to curb terrorism.
The Turkish prime minister said Pakistan needs political stability and consistency in policies to confront the challenges. He said Turkey is keenly observing the world scenario and developments in Pakistan.
Yousuf Raza Gilani thanked the Turkish prime minister and his spouse for spearheading a campaign for Turkey's unprecedented help during the 2005 earthquake and 2010 floods.
