    Reactions started pouring from different sections of the political spectrum, following the military’s pronouncement of the matter regarding Dawn’s story probe “settled”.

    Opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah alleged that Prime Minister House was directly involved in Dawn leaks issue, however issue would not be resolved until the real characters  behind the leaks are not exposed.

    Talking to media opposition leader said, “Dawn leaks is the giant challenge to country’s sovereignty and the government decision in this connection in one sided.”

    “Government should take nation in confidence on the issue rather politicizing it,” he said adding that no institution has the right to overstep from its given powers.

    Replying to a question he said that PPP was not with ISPR but with the institutions but things being messed over Panama leaks.

    “PPP did not accept JIT over the Panama leaks as JIT will investigate PM in a closed door,” he said.

    He also claimed that PPP will win the upcoming senate elections.

    Aitzaz Ahsan said, in his reaction, that DG ISPR should have been resigned after taking back its tweet. He alleged that real characters, apparently Maryam Nawaz and her media cell, behind the issue had been saved.
