Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that stringent security measures have been taken in the Federal Capital to avert any untoward incident during protest demonstrations.
Talking to the media persons in Islamabad today‚ he said it is the right of the people to protest against the blasphemous film but they should not shed blood or ransack the property.
The Interior Minister said two hundred one persons were arrested on Youm-e-Ishaq Rasool (SWA) Day for their involvement in violent acts. Of these one hundred twenty are Afghans.
