Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar says Pakistan has chosen to have a proactive foreign policy rather than a reactive one
Addressing a function of Asia Society in New York on Thursday‚ she said the regional pivot in foreign policy has been taken through a concerted confidence building effort.
She said ever since democracy has been restored in Pakistan‚ we are proud to have sought to proactively reshape Pakistani foreign policy in a manner.
The foreign minister said that after decades‚ we have helped to develop a national consensus‚ based on the will of the Pakistani people.
