Election Commission at a meeting of political leaders in Islamabad today reviewed preparations for the upcoming general elections
The Election Commission reviewed preparations for the next general elections in its meeting on Thursday chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim.
Leaders of eighteen political parties attended the meeting.
The commission suggested to increase the national and provincial assemblies seats for Balochistan province.
Briefing political leaders‚ Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan said that legal action will be initiated against the people who will cast fake votes in elections.
He said changes in electoral rolls will be possible until announcement of date for next General Elections.
