  • Pakistan attaches great importance to its ties with China: PM

    The Prime Minister says Pakistan was grateful to its Chinese friends for their assistance in undertaking development projects in Pakistan

    Talking to a six member Chinese delegation the Prime Minister has said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with China.


    The delegation was led by China's visiting Deputy Chief of General Staff‚ General Ma Xiaotian.

     

    The Prime Minister said Pakistan was grateful to its Chinese friends for their assistance in undertaking development projects in Pakistan.

     

    He said Pakistan is resolute in its commitment to fight terrorism and expressed his confidence that we would be successful in rooting out this scourge.

     

    He said Political system in Pakistan has stabilized and as we are moving towards elections with parliamentary democracy is taking roots in the country.


    Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said the resolution of the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir is vital for sustainable peace in South Asia.

    He was addressing the 47th Session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council in Islamabad today.

    The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan's principled stand on Kashmir dispute.
