Liver transplant centre at PIMS will soon be functional‚ PM told
A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf in Islamabad on Monday reviewed the ongoing projects of the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister was informed that building for Cardiac Surgery Center at PIMS would be handed over to the Ministry of CADD by October 15.
The prime minister directed the Secretary Ministry for Housing and Works to personally supervise the work and ensure its timely completion.
He also asked for an inquiry into delay in completion of Cardiac Surgery Centre at PIMS.
The prime minister was also informed that a project for the treatment of liver patients including liver transplant is also nearing completion.
Raja Pervez Ashraf directed CADD to make cardiac centre and Liver transplant centre functional as soon as possible so that the masses could benefit from the quality health care facility.
