The case was being heard by three-member bench when Attorney General Irfan Qadir appeared before the court on Wednesday.
During case hearing, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry asked as to who asked the AG to appear in this case, and as such he should not argue. The AG responded saying that he could not appear in certain cases as he received belated orders from the court. There followed an argument between the CJP and the AG when the earlier said was he telling the lie, to which the AG responded by saying whether he was lying. When the CJP asked about the deteriorating law and order in Balochistan, the AG responded by asking whether the court believed the government was responsible for the unrest in Balochistan. The court admonished the Attorney General by saying that he should behave his self.
