Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the Pakistan Navy and its leadership on the first successful live weapon firing test conducted by the newly inducted submarine, PNS/M HANGOR.
In a statement today, he said accurately engaging a long-range target with an anti-ship cruise missile stands as a testament to the exceptional operational readiness, professional expertise, and high combat capability of the Pakistan Navy's submarine force.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to ensuring the armed forces remain fully prepared to counter any challenge to national security.
Shehbaz Sharif also commended the professional performance of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and all personnel associated with the induction and operationalization of PNS/M HANGOR.
