The Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to postpone its intra-party elections as party members cited election activities ahead of the election 2024, sources said on Friday.
The development came just after a day when the PTI announced February 5 as the date for its party election.
According to sources, the decision was taken after party leadership held talks with the PTI chief organiser and requested delay in the intra-party elections saying that they were busy electioneering.
The PTI is likely to announce the schedule after the election – slated for February 8.
