  • Quetta Incident Cannot Shake Nation's Resolve to Eliminate Terrorism: Nawaz Sharif

    Nawaz Sharif says last three years have seen improvement in peace restoration in Balochistan.

    Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says a functional mechanism of federal and provincial law enforcement agencies will be evolved to eliminate terrorists from the country.

    Presiding over a high level meeting at Governor House in Quetta on Monday to review the law and order situation in the wake of today's terrorist attack, he said all state security institutions must respond with full might to decimate these terrorists.

    Prime Minister said terrorists are using innovating measures by hitting soft targets and one must respond in an advanced coordinated way.

    He said last three years have seen improvement in peace restoration in Balochistan and this sad incident cannot affect the resolve of the nation.

    Prime Minister said no doubt that enemies of Pakistan are after China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Army under the leadership of General Raheel Sharif is doing commendable job to neutralize the security threat to CPEC.

    He said that Federal and provincial governments will shift resources to augment capacity of FC and CTD and we will address the international terror threats through maximum efforts.

    Prime Minister said we will support this framework with available resources.
