Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif paid visit to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta on Monday along with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in order to enquire about the health of the victims of the blast that took place at the Civil Hospital earlier in the day.
PM Nawaz stated that the families of the martyrs of the blast shall not be abandoned at the hour of grief.

He added that the children of the martyrs were his own children, further stating that the elements that were destroying the peace of the country shall be dealt harshly.

PM Nawaz shall also preside over a meeting regarding the security situation of Balochistan and shall also be briefed over the situation of law and order.

Prime Minster arrived Quetta after cancelling all his important engagements. He was accompanied with Advisor to PM on National Security Lieutenant (retd.) Nasir Khan Janjua and Minister of Information Pervaiz Rashid.

56 people lost their lives as a result of the horrific blast at Quetta s Civil Hospital that also left scores injured.
