Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan Saturday said the enemies of Pakistan were behind the terrorists activities in Balochistan and world was eying on natural resources of province.
He said, however, the government and security forces would foil the nefarious designs of enemies and terrorists. The minister was addressing a ceremony held in connection with 57th passing out parade of Frontier Corps Balochistan at Jinnah Stadium here.
As many as 3,680 recruits completed their training and passed out in the parade. The ceremony was attended by Inspector General, FC Balochistan, Maj-Gen. Sher Afgun, parliamentarians and tribal elders.
“Enemies of Pakistan are behind the terrorists and anti-peace elements in Balochistan. We, however, will foil their nefarious designs to maintain peace and order,” said he.
He recalled that few years back, there was a concept that Pakistan national flag could not be hoisted in Balochistan, adding that but now peace had been restored and the national flag was being hoisted in the province.
The minister said that officers and personnel of FC Balochistan who belonged to different parts of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Punjab provinces would have to love local people of Balochistan by behaving them politely.
“The officials and personnel will not have only to win the war on terror but they will also have to win the hearts of local people of Balochistan,” Ch Nisar said.
He said that peace was restored in Balochistan with the sacrifices of officers and personnel of FC, adding that they would have to continue their role in this regard.
Appreciating the efforts of FC Balochistan, he said that FC was also imparting education to children and providing medical facilities to people of Balochistan.
“The security and sovereignty of Pakistan and Balochistan is linked with peace. We will have to protect every inch of Pakistan and Balochistan,” he added.
Ch. Nisar said that people of Balochistan were patriot and brave who also played a pivotal role in restoration of peace in their province.
