Famous Pakistani senior actor Shaan Shahid, while explaining the reason for not working in India, said that because his father's name is Riaz Shahid, he cannot work in Indian films.

Actor Shaan belongs to a film family. His father Riaz Shahid was a great director of Pakistan, who had immense love for the country, and his mother Neelu Begum was also a famous actress.

The actor himself has also shown the essence of acting in many hit and action-packed films like 'Vaar', 'Khuda Ke Liye', 'Yalghaar', 'Mujhe Chand Hawee' and 'Sangam'.

Nowadays Shaan is busy shooting for his upcoming film. Recently, in a press conference held for the film "Bulha", he openly spoke about his decision not to work in India.

Actress Mona Lisa, who plays the lead role with Shaan in the film and has worked in Indian films, was also present at this press conference.

Shaan said, “I don’t work in India because my father’s name is Riaz Shahid. If Mona Lisa’s father’s name was the same, she would have refused to work in India.”

He said, “This is my personal opinion and I am not imposing it on anyone. I have refused to work there myself, but I am not against other artists working there.”
